1. Introduction

Dealoop ("we", "us", or "our") is a WhatsApp lead-tracking and follow-up tool designed for real estate agents and sales professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and website.

By using Dealoop, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account information:

  • Email address (used for authentication and account management)
  • Name (optional, for personalizing your experience)
  • Authentication provider data when you sign in with Apple or Google

Data you create inside the app:

  • Leads: contact names, phone numbers, deal status, and property details you enter
  • Notes: free-text notes you attach to leads
  • Reminders: follow-up dates and times you schedule
  • Message templates: reusable WhatsApp message drafts you create
  • Pipeline stage and deal value information

Usage and analytics data:

  • App interactions, feature usage, and session duration (collected via PostHog)
  • Device type, operating system version, and app version
  • Crash reports and error logs

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Dealoop service
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account
  • Sync your leads, notes, reminders, and templates across devices
  • Send you product updates, feature announcements, and critical service notifications
  • Process subscription payments and manage your plan
  • Analyze how the app is used to inform product decisions
  • Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your lead data for advertising purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

Dealoop uses the following third-party services to operate:

Supabase / Firebase — Backend infrastructure for storing your account data, leads, notes, reminders, and templates. Data is stored in encrypted databases with access controls. See their respective privacy policies for details.

RevenueCat — Subscription and in-app purchase management. RevenueCat receives your Apple/Google App Store purchase receipts to validate your subscription status. No payment card details are processed by Dealoop directly.

PostHog — Product analytics. We use PostHog to understand how users interact with the app. Data is anonymized where possible. You can opt out of analytics tracking in the app settings.

Apple Sign In / Google Sign In — OAuth authentication. When you use these sign-in methods, the respective provider shares a unique user identifier and, optionally, your name and email with us.

These services operate under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We take care to work only with services that maintain strong data protection standards.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit and encryption at rest for stored data. Access to production databases is restricted to authorized personnel only.

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and keep your device secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and app content (leads, notes, reminders, templates) for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be used to identify you.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of analytics tracking
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

8. International Users

Dealoop is available in multiple markets including Morocco, UAE, Bali, Thailand, India, and Malaysia. Your data may be processed in servers located outside your country of residence. By using Dealoop, you consent to this transfer in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

9. Children's Privacy

Dealoop is intended for use by adults (18+) operating as sales or real estate professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice.
